Usada yoga uses yoga tools and practices to empower clients towards increased health and well-being through manual techniques of body movement (Asana), the use of postures, breathing practices (Energy Therapy), meditation (thought therapy) and lifestyle. Usada yoga understands the multidimensional nature of the individual and works from the premise that the physical, energy, emotional, and spiritual levels are fully integrated and interrelated. At Usada yoga, ancient wisdom, tools and yoga techniques combined with traditional and contemporary best practices are adapted to each individual’s unique situation and health challenges with the aim of helping clients improve, maintain and optimize health.
We will collect information about your health and personal history, health problems, and lifestyle practices. Depending on the information gathered in this initial intake, this information is to perform a full postural assessment to identify musculoskeletal imbalances that may be causing your pain or contributing to your discomfort. Once you have completed a full evaluation and assessment, We will work in partnership to define the goals of your Usada yoga practice based on the client’s needs and the therapist’s findings. You will begin your first session with an individualized plan to meet your client’s specific needs and that will support your journey towards improved health and well-being.
